YUWG Autumn Meeting 2015
YUWG stands for Youth and Unemployment Working Group and it is a very active group organized by the activists of the peace organisation Service Civil International. Its activities focus mainly on social inclusion, as it encourages young people with fewer opportunities to take part in intercultural and voluntary projects. In order to implement and evaluate their initiatives, YUWG members meet regularly in a different country and this time the meeting was held in Rome, at Città dell'Utopia, a cultural center managed by SCI Italy that provides services to local associations. I facilitated the plenary sessions (with visual tools and the silent map method to harvest data) in order to provide the group with new inspirations for the future and to reflect on the past projects; furthermore, I took care of the new-comers with activities on SCI history, project management and educational tools for social inclusion.
