The project aimed at improving the capacity of Alliance members to work in the field of advocacy and promotion of workcamps, youth work and IVS educational activities featuring NFE, in order to strengthen their recognition, visibility and role in our society. Originally planned in Brussels, the activities were organised online from October to December 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The project consisted of an online training course including 21 European participants coming from Alliance members, the former Alliance Vice President for External Relations (as a guest) and 2 participants from other continents (24 participants in total). The group had the chance to improve their knowledge of IVS values, vision and mission, and built their skills on advocacy and promotion. In the second part of the project, the participants prepared and coordinated autonomously an online advocacy event to promote NFE. A final evaluation meeting allowed the group to share feedback on the impact and learning achievement of the project, and to shape a Handbook that will help organisations and trainers to replicate the training at local level.
