During the 6 days of the Laboratory, 35 representatives from IVS networks and organisations shared best practices on projects in the African region and planned how to improve the quality of volunteer exchange, harmonize their working procedures and enhance South-South cooperation. Working with almost 40° temperature was not easy, but the group achieved meaningful results through "heated" debates (on decolonisation and quality standards) and networking activities. The visit to the legendary waterfalls nearby was refreshing and inspired participants to multiply their efforts for peace, cooperation and intercultural understanding.
